The body of this excellently crafted artist's spinning top is made of a bud-shaped piece of rosewood in a beautifully grained soft red colour. Visibly incorporated is a stabilising core of shiny gold brass. Despite its height, this makes the spinning top a quiet and stable runner with a low degree of difficulty. The slender, high torsion bar is turned from pock wood, which due to its hardness and density belongs to the so-called iron woods.
