The standup Spinning Top "Stick Top" is a fine collector's item from the hands of German artist Armin Kolb. With its wooden socket it looks beautiful on any desk.
The center-stick is not attached to the actual Spinning Top, but sits loosely in the socket. It stabilizes the rotation and sustains the spinning very long. In the end the top does not fall from the stick but gently tips over into its resting position.
Three noble woods have been combined for the "Stick Top": Cocobolo, Amboina and African Blackwood. The center stick and a wieght in both the socket and the top are made from brass.
