This tiny, excellently crafted spinning top is hand-turned from brass. Thanks to the heavy material and the low centre of gravity, the spinning top can be turned without difficulty and subsequently demonstrates an impressive duration and quietness of the run.
This film is also recommended to fans of the movie Inception by Christopher Nolan. In this film, the protagonists need a "totem" to determine whether they are in a waking or dreaming state. The dream researcher played by Leonardo DiCaprio uses a small spinning top for this purpose, which turns endlessly in the dream world. The brass spinning top, which fits in the smallest trouser pocket, would not be less suitable for this.
The spinning top is individually made on the lathe in the artist's workshop in Germany. Due to the handmade nature of the spinning top, there may be slight variations in the colour and grain of the wood.
