With his depictions of plants and animals he reminds us of the magical worlds that exist right on our doorstep if we just pay the attention. And that even familiar creatures such as the pheasant or the rhubarb plant have an exotic beauty about them.
The front side of the "Pheasant & Rhubarb" pillow is woven elaborately from cotton in a six-color tapestry technique. The back side is made of unicolor green linen.The snail at the top of the picture has embroidered details.
