The intense color of the "Pink Ivory" wood in combination with golden brass makes this handcrafted spinning top to a very special beauty. The two materials are intricately interlaced, the heavy brass allows for a stable and quite long rotation of the spinning top.
This artistic hand-turned wooden spinning top is characterised by a very special wood, both visually and functionally: Pink Ivory, also called ironwood, has a unique, intensely reddish-pink hue and is so dense and hard that it can be compared to ivory rather than ordinary woods. In addition, this spinning top is stabilised by an elaborately worked-in core of gold-coloured brass. The spinning top runs smoothly and is not particularly difficult to turn. With practice and skill, the spinning top can also be turned upside down on its tip.
The spinning top is individually made on the lathe in the artist's workshop in Germany. Due to the handmade nature of the spinning top, there may be slight variations in the colour and grain of the wood.
We deliver the spinning top in a cardboard gift box.
