May we present: Flensted Mobiles. The Danish family-run company manufactures decorative mobiles by hand in the third generation. It all began with the christening of Christian Flensted's daughter Mette in 1953, for whom the father designed a small mobile in the shape of a stork. Just one year later, he founded the Flensted company, which is now run by Christian's grandson Ole Flensted and his wife Aase. The stork, by the way, is still on sale after some 70 years.
Flensted mobiles are made by hand in homework by residents of the Danish island of Funen. They come in all sizes, colors and shapes. The mobiles are mostly made of the sustainable materials paper, wood and metal. Here we give you an impression of the diversity of the Flensted universe, from small baby mobiles to larger-than-life XXL mobiles.
