Two Floors Birdbath with Porcelain Bowls

A small designer villa for thirsty birds is formed from a single sheet of steel. On two floors there is each one bowl made of frost-resistant porcelain. They can be filled with food in winter and water in summer. The roof provides protection from rain and allows the approach from different sides. A branch can be inserted between the pole and lowest angle of the house so the birds can land on it.

The birdhouse is available in three versions:

Stainless steel, brushed
Stainless steel, powdercoated white
Rust: untreated weatherproof Corten steel, will form a beautiful rust patina

This bird feeder is also available in a version with steel cable for hanging on a tree or similar – see below.

NOTE: The pictures of the white model show an outdated version of the birdhouse without side edges. Like the other two versions, the white model comes with raised side edges.


Notes about setting up the bird house:

The scope of delivery includes a stand in the form of a dismountable stainless steel pole with an earth spike 1.50 metres long. This stand can be inserted into the ground or – which is recommended for the balcony – into a large flower pot.

If the stand is not required, we can deliver the bird house without the stand for a price reduction. Please contact us for this.

The stand is sufficient to anchor the bird house solidly and out of reach of cats under normal weather conditions. In the event of a strong storm, the bird house must be secured in good time.

It should be noted that the total height of the erected bird house depends on how deep the stand is inserted into the ground. The stability also depends on the strength of the soil. When installing in regions with a particularly stormy climate or very loose soil, we recommend installing with a wooden stake or post.

In order to anchor the bird house even deeper (and thus more securely) or to obtain a greater installation height, we offer an extension piece with a length of 50 centimetres – see below.

As an alternative to the ground spike, we offer a square concrete base weighing eleven kilograms (see below), which is suitable not least for the terrace or balcony. The stand included with the bird house is fixed in the concrete base by means of a metal sleeve. We recommend this base (available in two colours) for small to medium-sized birdhouses and for installation in sufficiently wind-protected areas.
