Oak Stool Big Babel
This wood object is being treated as constly as any decent alcoholic spirit. It starts with a freshly cut oak trunk, which is being turned into shape manually while it's still wet. After that it will be stored to dry in boxes along with wood chips and must be turned over every week. After six months it is by dried and weighs around 15 kg. Now it will be grinded and treated with natural waxes. In the end a grey felt pad is applied to the underside.
This fully natural sculpture serves as a small stool, an accession aid and a rack for magazines.
