This German handmade musical box plays "Voi che sapete", the declaration of love from Mozart's Le Nozze Di Figaro. The solid beech wood case is being coated several times with satin white laquer. The brass wind-up is coated white as well.
The music box is hidden inside a perfectly spherical case made of solid bright beech wood (waxed), manufactured in the Black Forest in Germany.
The melody is being played by a mechanical movement with 18 voices. It is made in the Black Forest, Germany, and proves its first-class quality already with the gentle and steady rattling of the winding-up mechanism. The beech wood for the housing comes from regional German forestry.
