A mobile of microcosmic beauty
This mobile was designed in cooperation with artist Mette Høst and the nuclear physician Clive Ellegard in 2013. Precisely 100 years earlier Nils Bohr revolutionised science with his atomic model, laying the ground for all upcoming research on quantum mechanics.
However the scientific background is not even required to recognice the beauty of this mobile.
In the center of the mobile there is a golden-coloured wooden pearl representing the atom's core, orbited by "electrons" of stainless steel. Of course you will also feel reminded of planets circling around the sun.
The Nils Bohr mobile comes mounted ready for use.
