This charming jumping jack figure has already passed its 100th birthday. Margaretha Reichardt, one of the most famous artists of the original Bauhaus in Dessau, created the design for the jumping jack in the second half of the 1920s. With its reduced but expressive forms and the primary colors of yellow, green and blue favored at the Bauhaus, the figure represents a chapter of design history that is still immensely influential today.
The figure hangs within a black frame that has two recesses on the back for wall mounting. The figure and frame are made of certified Central European wood.
Licensed manufacturer of the jumping jack is the family-owned company Naef from Switzerland, known for its first-class toys. The production takes place in a Bavarian handicraft business. Here, quality clearly takes precedence over quantity, which is why some toys are only available about once a year and then quickly go out of stock. We try to keep as many toys as possible in stock.
