Ryder is a friendly black-spotted male cat who lives in East London and made friends with Putte, the cat of designer Klaus Haapaniemi. This is how Ryder also made it onto this very pretty sofa cushion, alongside various depictions of fruit and plants which are also on the back of the cushion. Haapaniemi does not offer the usual minimalistic approach on Scandinavian design but rather a playful fantasy which is rich in details and has roots in Finnish folk art.
The sofa cushion consists of a high-quality printed cotton-linen blend with a decorative hem and hidden zipper.
