Norwegian Wool Throw "Skog" (Grey)
-40%
Woven in fine lines, the pattern of this soft wool throw is reminiscent of the grain of wood. The inspiration comes from Norwegian forests and the warm cosiness of a wooden cabin.
The woven pattern appears on both sides of the throw in inverted colour combinations.
The woollen throw is delivered in a beautiful carrier bag with side panels made of strong paper.
This throw is available in a different version – see below.
This woollen throw comes from the looms of the traditional Finnish manufacturer Røros Tweed, based in the rather remote Norwegian town of Røros, 600 metres above sea level. The predecessor of the company, founded in 1940, was a social foundation that bought wool and linen to make textiles and provide poor people with both work and warm clothing. Today, Røros works with renowned Norwegian textile designers on its modern collection of textiles made from pure Norwegian wool, which are still woven locally and meet first-class quality standards.
Care instructions:
Only wash the throw if it is very dirty, otherwise take textile outdoors in fresh air for a while.
If throw is extremely dirty, hand wash at max. 30°C or dry clean. If using powder detergent, dissolve it in plenty of water. Immerse the blanket in the water and wash immediately. Squeeze gently. Do not scrub, stretch or wring out. Rinse thoroughly and squeeze out most of the water. Press the blanket between towels until half-dry and leave it to dry in an airy space. Do not tumble dry. Iron with a damp cloth, max. 150°C.
