This wind chime, handmade in France, is a fully fledged musical instrument. It produces eight tones that blend into a beautiful open chord. The sound bars hidden inside the bamboo cylinder are soldered with silver and vibrate with particularly rich overtones. The chime enriches everyday life with its calming and meditative harmony. It starts singing either with a breath of air or by the gentle manual play with the cord pendulum.
The Terra model plays a C/Gadd4 chord consisting of the tones G C E F G C E G.
Three other versions are available (see below) with different chords. The chimes are tuned so that different or all models harmonize together. We offer a set of all four chimes – see below.
The sound cylinder is treated with a natural oil and consists of bamboo veneer in several thin layers. This manufacturing process, which is also used for drum kettles, allows the chime to vibrate particularly well, which contributes to the full and expressive sound of the instrument.
The wind chime comes in a folding box and is a beautiful gift for all occasions.
Care instructions: Like all natural wood surfaces, this chime should be treated regularly with a natural oil (e.g. teak oil is recommended). This applies especially if the chime is hanging outdoors. The chime may only be hung in a covered area and not be exposed to rain.
Safety note: Babies and children under the age of three love the music of this sound game. But for safety reasons it must not hang within their reach
