For the glass bead star, high grade hand-sorted glass beads are concentrically arranged around a tealight. The thoughtful multiple refraction of the candle light in the various beads draws a warm shining and contrasting shaded star pattern on the table, which has a soothing, atmospheric and harmonious effect in its perfect rotational symmetry.
This model shines in delicate hues through twelve satin red glass beads and six each of small clear red and white glass beads.
The glass bead star is of course perfect as a festive-contemplative light for Christmas, but also excels on a summer evening on the terrace table. Even without a burning candle, the glass bead star is a beautiful decorational gem.
The base plate of the light is a porcelain disc which is specially manufactured and stamped in the Freiberg porcelain manufactory in Saxony, Germany. The premium glass beads come from Bohemia. They are hand-picked for each candlelight and individually checked for their translucency. Then they are optimally placed and aligned by hand before the final attachment to the porcelain plate.
The glass bead star comes in a beautiful cardboard box with banderole. Included is a tealight with transparent container. You can choose to have 18 additional tealights included.
