Antique Table Clock – Wooden Kit with Clockwork
With this artfully designed table clock, the technical finesse of a clockwork can be explored and literally understood even by laymen. The decorative piece runs smoothly and purely mechanically with the help of a rubber band and a pendulum on the back. The clock is wound with a key and set in motion with a switch. With one winding the table clock runs for around ten minutes, showing the minutes and seconds. The rate of the clock can be finely adjusted by weighing down the weight with coins.
Note: This table clock is a functional but decorative model and does not show the precise time.
With the construction kit, the sophisticated technology of a clockwork can be experienced in all its fascination, which is why it will delight future and experienced engineers alike. Additional creative potential lies in painting the parts of the model in colour.
A construction time of about six hours should be planned until the many gears and other moving parts mesh perfectly. Since patience and dexterity are required, the model is recommended for ages 14 and up.
The wooden elements of the kit are made of birch wood from sustainable cultivation. A laser cuts them exactly into shape. No glue is needed to assemble the model. Detailed instructions are included.
The construction kit comes in a cardboard box and is ideal as a gift.
ATTENTION: Not suitable for children – danger to life due to breakable and/or swallowable small parts!
