Elaborate Marble Machine made of Brass and Steel
This video shows the marble machine combined with the power plant design Stirling engine (sold seperately)
Even people with no particular interest in technology are absolutely delighted by this charming and authentically designed marble machine made of brass and stainless steel. Sophisticated gears carry the steel marbles up and drop them into a brass spiral in which the balls whiz down with a happy rustle. Together with the industrious rattling of the engine, the whole machinery is a marvelous piece of engineering that fascinates all generations.
Delivery includes a long drive belt for connecting the ball track to the engine.
The windmill sits on a socket made of either dark or bright wood.
An engine is not part of the delivery. The marble machine is compatible with all active Stirling model motors EXCEPT for the telescope design (KB-BO-HB66).
This marble machine comes either fully assembled or delivered as a kit in individual parts. The kit for self-assembly is recommended for adults with manual skills and a steady hand.
The golden color parts are made of raw polished brass. They will darken over time and develop a beautiful authentic patina. This is not a defect and does not affect the functionality. The onset of patina can be removed by polishing if desired.
