Extra Large Marble Machine made of Brass and Steel
This video shows the marble machine combined with the power plant design Stirling engine (sold seperately)
This luxurious multi-storey marble machine is the undisputed gem of our Stirling collection. The perfectly synchronized gear and drive wheels bring the steel marbles up in several stages and send them alternating down two curved slides into a brass spiral, at the end of which the cycle begins again. The busy chattering of the engine, the clicking and clacking of the marbles and the countless number of moving parts result in a fascinating and comprehensive sensory impression which fascinates even the least interested in engineering.
Four different speeds of the marble machine can be adjusted with a belt pulley.
Delivery includes a long drive belt for connecting the ball track to the engine.
An engine is not part of the delivery. The marble machine is compatible with all active Stirling model motors EXCEPT for the telescope design (KB-BO-HB66).
This marble machine comes either fully assembled or delivered as a kit in individual parts. The kit for self-assembly is recommended for adults with manual skills and a steady hand.
The golden color parts are made of raw polished brass. They will darken over time and develop a beautiful authentic patina. This is not a defect and does not affect the functionality. The onset of patina can be removed by polishing if desired.
